Stem Cell Therapy Treatment

Frequently Asked Questions
Because of stem cells’ ability to replicate and differentiate, the list of chronic infections that can be helped with stem cell therapy is a lengthy one. We can treat autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS), rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, myasthenia gravis, Crohn’s disease, lupus, diabetes, relapsing polychondritis, alopecia areata, and autoimmune neuropathy/CIDP. We can treat neurological disorders such as muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries. We can also treat cardiopulmonary disorders such as asthma, lung disease, congestive heart failure, and cardiomyopathy. In addition, we can treat urological disorders such as interstitial cystitis, erectile dysfunction, male incontinence, and lichen sclerosus. We can even treat orthopedic disorders such as arthritis and spine disease, as well as problems with the knees, hips, elbows, hands, shoulders, ankles, and feet. We believe that stem cells have the power to change the face of medicine in our lifetime!
We do not treat cancer, active infections, systemic diseases, spinal cord injuries, or autism with stem cells.
Our stem cell treatments are designed for those who wish to take a proactive, holistic, and thoughtful approach to their healthcare. We take our treatments several steps further, supporting your body by addressing your nutrition, hormones, microbiome, and inflammatory issues, therefore ensuring your stem cell treatment’s success! We do this because we understand that stem cell therapy alone cannot give you the results you seek. Our clinic is capable of providing treatment for your whole body, restoring you to your most optimum state.
We do not use embryonic stem cells, nor any stem cells from another animal source or person. Instead, we harvest your own adult autologous/mesenchymal stem cells—capable of forming bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, ligaments, blood vessels, and certain organs—and then deploy them back into your body where they’re most needed. In this way, we are sure that there is no risk of contamination or unethical practices.
Adult stem cells are also known as “progenitor” cells because they remain dormant unless they bear witness to some level of tissue injury. As such, when a person with a degenerative disorder uses our stem cell therapy, the stem cells tend to find the person’s tissue injury on their own and begin to stimulate the healing process. If poor blood flow restricts the stem cells’ ability to reach an affected area, we use fluoroscopic stem cell therapy to place them exactly where they are needed.
Stem cells that are your own have cell-to-cell communication abilities, allowing them to find the exact areas and tissues within your body that are experiencing distress during a simple IV deployment. At the Biologix Center, we are fortunate enough to also be able to work with a fluoroscopy, imaging technology that allows us to place stem cells exactly where they are needed, even if there isn’t sufficient blood flow to allow stem cells to reach the area naturally through IV deployment. We perform both procedures to facilitate healing throughout your entire body.
Absolutely not. Your stem cells do not age at the same rate that you do. However, they do decrease in their number and their ability to multiply. As such, when we extract your stem cells out of your fat and bone marrow, we will create higher numbers and concentrate them exactly where they need to go. Additionally, we can also add cord stem cells and/or exosomes to your stem cells, rendering them even more effective.
Interestingly, the stem cells from your bone marrow are exactly the same as those found in your fat. However, because the FDA classifies banked stem cells that are taken from fat to be a drug, only stem cells that are taken from bone marrow can be banked. Additionally, the bone marrow retrieval process is slightly less comfortable than that of fat removal. But we will do everything we can to make sure that you are comfortable, regardless of which type or types of procedure you choose to undergo. Many patients decide to do both!
Patients have their fat harvested in our special sterile treatment facility under a local anesthetic. The fat removal process takes approximately twenty minutes and postoperative discomfort is minimal. There is also minimal restriction on activities post-procedure.
Since nearly every chronic condition has inflammation at its core, the first stem cell treatment addresses your body’s overall inflammation, to better prepare the body for a more targeted approach. Since at this time we are unsure which type of stem cell treatment is the most effective, having multiple stem cell treatments allows you to experience multiple combinations and reap as many benefits as possible.
Absolutely not. In fact, 80% of stem cell retrieval procedures are done with no medication at all. Sedation is very toxic to several of your body’s processes and will hinder your stem cell therapy’s results. However, we have non-toxic options that will ensure that you are comfortable and worry-free.
Our stem cells are harvested under extremely sterile conditions using a special “closed system” technology, which makes sure that they do not come into contact with the outside environment during the entire process—removal through deployment. Sterile techniques and antibiotics are also used to prevent infection.
